The Black Belt component of Lean Six Sigma training layers on the final technical pieces required for higher level mastery of the methodologies of Lean and Six Sigma. With a strong focus on the effective utilisation of quantitative decision making processes, the participant will become a reference point for more sophisticated application of Lean and Six Sigma methods.

Competency development remains the overall goal and certification requires value adding application of the methodology.

  • Utilise advanced Lean and Six Sigma methods according to project contexts
  • Have a major impact on profit margin through delivering cost reduction and / or revenue increasing results

Recognition

Participants who have ..

  1. successfully completed all relevant units of competency, and
  2. who hold a LSS Green Belt or Black Belt qualification,

.. will receive accreditation as a Certified Business Improvement Leader issued under the governance of the Institute of Business Improvement Leadership.

Miscellaneous Information

  1. The courses detailed in this bridging program are stand alone and can be undertaken without Green Belt Training in advance
  2. The Black Belt training can be undertaken without completing the Green Belt program in the first instance, it is a stand alone program that compliments the LSSGB program
  3. Green Belt Certification is a pre-requisite for issuing the Black Belt qualification
