How does it work?

The business execution and improvement system (BEIS) is mainly the business management piece of our full offering. It fits in our approach in this way.

• Step 1 – We begin the process by delivering our Most Effective Leader on the Planet Seminar to the workforce.
• Step 2 – We conduct BEIS workshops to install a simple framework for executing the business plan, getting weekly focus on the right activities, and having more time for thinking and planning.
• Step 3 – We can now get waste out of the business and make it really hum through the application of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Step 4 – We now run what we call a momentum session, which is simply a second BEIS workshop that falls at the beginning of a new quarter. It sets up the system to now run throughout the year as part of a broad operating system.
• Step 5 – The entire program is complemented by participation in our Leader and Lean Six Sigma education programs.

The system is the key to the whole thing; it drives improvement down through the organisation as opposed to having improvement on the side as something else to do.
